Top 4 Reasons Why I Meditate

1.  I am not my thoughts:  We constantly have thoughts that come and go.  Good, bad, neutral.  I am able to sit with my thoughts.  Recognize them and remind myself that I am not necessarily my thoughts.
2.  Elevates my mood:  I find that if I am in a bad mood going into my meditation, I come out feeling a little better than how I felt when I started.
3.  Returning to the present moment:  I recognize when I get caught up in the daydream of excessive thinking and am able to pull myself back to the present moment.
4.  More productive:  The day runs smoother in an effortless type of way.  There's more calmness in how I handle the different obstacles that show up throughout the day.
